    That'll be more than Lancaster sees all winter.

    Trick or Treat is on Thursday here and it'll be close to 80 degrees. I can barely remember a single time as a kid when it was that warm. It was usually always pretty chilly but there were one or two times it wasn't that bad out...just not 80 degrees lol. Gonna feel bad for any kids who are wearing a heavy duty costume
    My 20-month-old got my retard strength and I wanted to dress him up as Bam Bam but was afraid of the cold. He's going to be Scooby Doo instead and wear a ten pound dog suit.

    You hope USC shitcans they coach and he decides to take his used car salesman shtick to LA. Dude sucks. Problem is, who do you get that's better? Penn State isn't going to go outside the program again after this fails. Manny Diaz has failed as a HC. So what's that leave you with? Coach Lavar? Bring in a warm body and hope someone like Paul Pusluszny decides to give it a shot?

    "Not the guy" has won a Rose Bowl, a Fiesta Bowl, a Cotton Bowl, and a conference championship. State ain't getting anybody who can make that jump.

    42 was my low. Color I don't think will be as good as last year, but we'll know in a week or so. 
    Up this way I think it was much better than last year. I may be wrong, but I don't remember it being so vivid last time around.

    I didn't get up to Skybridge to leaf peep this year, though. Maybe I'll make it up in February to see if 30 inches of snow is enough to keep you alive after a 300 foot fall.

    38-41 on way into office.  Spotty frost on a few rooftops and a spattering in some protected lowlands.
    Been a wonderful autumn so far.  Hitting the hills tonight after being in clearfield last weekend.  Was looking for you [mention=2708]Atomixwx[/mention] at the Rendevous Saturday night.  Cool litle place.

    There was this in relation to the question this AM about some close to freezing temps next week.   I think the GFS and its little brother ensembles took a step in the right direction to avoid a blow torch end of Oct...it was starting to look quite ugly the last few days.

    Those temps can suck me. I'm becoming a warminista until fuel oil is cheaper than my left nut.

    And for that matter, Ohio State doesn't give two shits about Penn State, either, aside from just pushing them aside like a little brother. Similar to how Penn State treats Pittsburgh.

    It would be financial suicide but when the new scheduling format came out and only one of 18 members failed to secure a protected rivalry, and that was Penn State, it became apparent that this institution has zero rivals in the Big Ten.

    Rutgers hates Penn State because New Jersey's best football players go to Penn State. Completely one-sided.

    Maryland hates Penn State because the best football players in Maryland, DC, and Virginia go to Penn State. Completely one-sided.

    Penn State never replaced Pittsburgh, but Pittsburgh doesn't have their own stadium and can't fill the apartment they rent. But they're still the closest thing Penn State has to a real, tangible rival.

    They'd almost be better off joining the ACC.

    Low of 42 here.  Daddy daycare was a success yesterday.  Lots of football watching and beer drinking and pot roast eating and baby crying.  But we got it done, and with no new injuries to boot.  Isn't that always the standard for fathers  
    This is bullshit. You should have had to watch Trash Truck like the rest of us.

    Last Thanksgiving snowstorm, well it was the day before, was in 2015, I believe. May have been 2016. I was at my parent's house in Huntingdon county and we picked up, I believe close to 7 inches of cement.

    I don't remember a Halloween snow even after 2003. I'm sure there has been one since.

I'd hate for any of yous to post something expecting the jukebox of lulz to respond only for the cord to get plugged and you find yourself staring out into a foggy Susquehanna morning wondering if the asshole on the weather forum got tired of reading "Lawn Mowing Weekly" knowing there's not a Guatemalan to be found to collect his title and signed out.

    For Penn State game the temperature looks to stay between 47-53 all day with rain. Thats pretty miserable. Flashback to Northwestern game last year. At least wind won't be bad.

    That weather sucked. I went to a haunted house with the fiance that day. The drive to Lock Haven was a nightmare and then being outside on line for a few minutes at a time was misery.

    Perfect day to put some chili in the crockpot and watch some football in sweats.
