    I am monumentally sorry for your loss. Not many people would uproot their entire existence at the risk of their own families to comfort a loved one an entire continent away, even if that were their own mother.

    Like my place, HGR gets less precip on average due to their rain shadow location between two mountain ranges.      This mostly comes in to play in the summer when precip is more driven by mesoscale systems that dry out when reaching the leeward side valley of range 1 then reenergize with lift as they pass into Adams County.   This area scores bigly with systems that drive in from the SE with the opposite effect in that we wring out and optimize the qpf.

    That's an alarming day 6 probability outlook. Geesh. 
    That alone is why I think the hammer is coming for someone in the OKC metro. It just seems like the SPC has this ability to sniff out monsters well in advance.

    Any recommends on a decent portable basketball hoop purchase?  Has anyone had success with any under $500? . 


    Yes. Almost everyone who has ever purchased a basketball hoop.

    Unless I am greatly unaware of the expense of purchasing basketball equipment, that purchase point seems insane. The best basketball players on earth mastered their craft playing with rusted and bent rims with cracked backboards on the streets of New York or in Parisian slums.

    You know who spends $500 on basketball equipment? White three-point shooters who get giant French nuts smashed on their forehead for three weeks after college before learning they're either headed to Macabbi Tel-Aviv or the local "Y."
