I'm in favor of open discussion in here but even I am tired of your posts.  Not a good thing.

Okay then. Explain how masks are helping covid-19 cases decrease and where is this occurring?

Even if we pretend the masks are “personal bacteria farms,” please do explain how bacteria are at all related to covid. I’ll wait.

Masks weaken your immune system.  In turn you're more likely to catch anything that comes along, CCP virus included

    Not the same thing.

I live in an area with a decent amount of people of color, and I can't remember the last time I saw one without a mask.

I'm going to guess that access to a mask is easier than access to a vaccine at present.

Problem is, they wear the same masks for weeks at  a time. Take the masks away,  cases drop. Becoming pretty clear that the personal bacteria  farms are detrimental

Two posts about weather in the last 2+ years, and a bunch of posts in this thread, almost all of which are babbling about “face diapers” being “bacteria farms” and recycling the same not very good point every time. Yes, it’s possible to get sick from wearing the same mask over and over and over again, but most of us don’t, and the number of people who have gotten sick from wearing a mask dwarfs by a massive margin the number of coronavirus cases that have been prevented by masks. There’s really no arguing that point. Sure, masks are nowhere near 100% effective, but they absolutely prevent much more illness than they cause.

Your face diaper is as useless as a snow shovel in Barbados outside of a sterile environment.  Wear your virtue signal and be happy. Who is dumb enough to think that restricting your oxygen flow is good for any length of time? Just wondering

The point is we all have options.  Instead of crying about something so trivial as wearing a mask because it is ‘required,’ no one is aging anyone has to go anywhere that is requiring such.  Same as the vaccine ‘passport’ - don’t want to ‘deal’ with it, don’t go to a show.

Just so sick of people not willing to follow simple rules that science has proven to be effective.

Yes, wearing your own personal bacteria farm is effective! Michigan cases surging. One Covid+ patient in our ER today told nurse that he wears the same mask for weeks , doesn't understand how he tested positive

  6. The vaccines work. The face diapers are virtue signals. They project fear and make the fearful feel safe. Our Covid patients,  I'd say 85% +, "I always wear my mask! Why'd  I get Covid?"

What's going on over there? New variant?

Folks up here wear the same masks for weeks at a time. Sure that doesn't help wearing your own personal bacteria farm

People may be gross as **** where you live but those of us in SEMI shower and have cleanliness. Thanks for reminding us how grimy the northern Michigan people are.

    See it daily

Huh?  I'm saying, when mask mandates were in place, everywhere got a big spike this winter.  The mask mandates made no difference.  Are you blaming those massive spikes on holiday family get togethers? Sure wasn't from the Walmart or grocery stores, as masks are required there.

This is because, at least here in Michigan, hygiene has always been an issue. Now, put on top of that the fact that 90%+ of the populace  are wearing the same mask for weeks at a time and they STILL can't understand the correlation to rising infection rates

Biden is asking people to wear a mask during the first 100 days of his presidency (warning:  no mention of fringe theories about the EC voting against him).

I think it's great to frequently encourage this from the top.  I am a bit skeptical on how many minds it can change as people seem to be pretty dug in, but even a small increase in mask wearing wouldn't hurt.

I can only guess the rationale for saying 100 days -- which goes to May 1 -- is that you want to give people who haven't been masking a finite endpoint and that you are hoping that the situation is under control, but I'm not sure about putting that time limit on it.  Not that he's actually saying that here's no way it wouldn't be extended, but it gives the impression that that's the end.  We will be getting some benefit of seasonality by then, as well as more and more people being vaccinated, but we really don't know how many people will have been vaccinated by then.  If it's less than hoped, then it's not out of the question that we could actually be coming down from a higher baseline than we saw in spring 2020.

I can't see stores already lifting the mask requirement by May 1, but maybe I'm wrong.

They don't  mention people are wearing the same masks for weeks at a time, basically helping spread "Covid"
