    I was in Springfield and East Longmeadow, everyone has already cut their lawn once and the lawns looked great. I guess they're a week or two ahead of my area.

    Me and my sisters are looking i to getting a condo in Florida, I'd like to be here for storms but it's also nice to be sitting outside with a drink while its 70 in winter.

    Wrecked roofs, happened to Hopkinton a few years back, 1/4 of the town needed new roofs.

    I went to a hockey game at the old Garden and saw a rat so big in the parking lot I thought it was a dog.

    I got swarmed by mayflies this afternoon. They're out early this year.

    You're a mensch, I love dogs too but only have one at the moment, a senior dog who doesn't get around like she used too. Put her on arthritic chews.

    I hit 70, back to 69, saw a lot of golfers in my travails today, beautiful golf day.

    Nothing in my yard either but I saw a ton in CT and remarked to my wife how bright they were.

    I did an appraisal for a guy one time, he had a decent size shed in his yard, when I looked at it I remarked that his roof looked unusual. He said he was an astronomer, and he pressed a button and the roof slid open, pretty cool set up.

    They can't but some grey squirrels have a reddish color to the tails.

    Years ago we had a trip to Egypt planned before 9/11, after that we nixed it. Would like to see it one day though.

    If it happens the sun will melt it in no time. I remember back in the 70s we had a few inches in May, was gone in no time.

    Thanks for the map, I'm surprised I got over 20 inches, I guess those 1-2 inchers add up over a full season.

    My wife caught the northern lights in Iceland, she went for 4 days a couple years ago. I'd be happy to visit Alaska even if I missed the lights.

    When I was in the pool in Sarasota, I met a guy from Ohio who lives in the path of totality, he said he wanted to get out of there before all the people came and took over his town with a traffic jams. I asked if he ever witnessed one, he said no. I said I hear it's a pretty spectacular event and you could watch it from your own yard, he said his give a shit meter didn't register. I was a bit dumbfounded; I would have at least stayed home to see it at least once to see what the excitement was all about.

    That one just touches northern Iceland, looks like Spain is a better place to see it.
