A simple 1” overnight puts us at 12” fingers crossed the rain drops stay away tomorrow

3” since 7 when I cleared the driveway getting a little brighter here but still light snow hammering snow up at the mountain, over 12” above 2200’ and still chugging

It is the bottom of Stateside, water runoff surfacing wherever it could and leaving sheets all over the mountain. we had sun and 53, almost got the driveway back juat flipped to snow showers now

Long tour today. No winds, 3-5” of ultra fluff over 2500’, some serious snow out there Big brooks showing signs from the last thaw making for interesting crossing

Started snowing around 12:30, be curious if it stays 1-3”, we should have 3” in another couple hours at this rate winds really moved the snow around yesterday, lots of variable snow surfaces out there

Had the same thoughts PF. Breaking our XC ski trails in yesterday and it felt similar to rifle and muzzy seasons with consistent knee deep and over knee snow conditions. At least now the snow pack has solidified. Pretty heavy winds today at Jay. Never moved over 5F. Kids here grow up skiing with respect for the weather, everyone looking out for exposed skin on each other and understanding how to keep it moving. Deep blue skies and slow snow. Looking forward to touring in the teens and 20's this weekend:)

Winds ripping, white out conditions, dropped from 14 to 6 in the past 30 minutes I can't even remember the rain

Skied the Greensboro to Craftsbury trail yesterday expecting firm and fast with the skate skis, packed powder was the rule. speaking of microclimates, it was cool to see the variance in snow depths along the way, ski up one hill with 3-4 on the trees and down the other side with 8, small pockets with noticeable variance everywhere about 1300’ I think every town should consider a winter xc ski track. Something extra enjoyable about skiing to another town

UGLY 2” through the daylight today with temps at 24F kitchen sink fell for a couple hours at dark and now a full on shalacking ironically the best maintained roads are now a sheet of ice up here kind of hoping for some 40s to cook off the crust just now bumping to 33

Skies are showing signs of the sun now here in the valley. Mood flakes and some serious drifting. Nice to see the VAST groomers out today. The deep freeze should help seal up some of the remaining open water spots recovery complete from the holiday car wash

3.5” this morning here. Had a bout freezing rain before the NW winds started blowing. If it can snow like it was on Sheffield heights an hour ago, things should be deep tomorrow

We have the same huge flakes just now getting going. 3-4” this morning at 3K up here. Winds were transporting everything to N slopes nice to ski 3D
