  1. Didn't make a coating over here but did manage a dusting. This combined with the falling snow made for a nice evening walking and looking at Christmas lights here in the park.
  2. While I don't know much about them I find micro climates very interesting so I'm always looking for more information on them. Light snow showers/flurries in and around Goshen in the past hour.
  3. GO ARMY! Sadly I'm giving up my season tickets but that's on the other board. Low of 10 here.
  4. Check that, I guess I needed more coffee this morning, I see that my low was 17 or 16.8 for those who go to the tenth. Oh, I don't know if I'm smart enough to explain it much more but I've wondered if I fall in the warmer porion of that image too.
  5. True I guess I misspoke a bit, I was thinking more in terms of cold air drainage, forested areas, that sort of thing. This isn't the best image but I don't have much time at the moment.
  6. What's your elevation there? We'll see if I get that low but it should be the lowest of the season for sure. For whatever reason raditonal cooling is hit or miss IMBY. It seems like I tend to stay a bit warmer but there have been a few instances when I radiated very well and wound up colder. I haven't been able to figure out the reasoning but I sometimes wonder if my weather station location is a factor as it sits on a little hill in the yard with a 4-6 foot drop off on three sides. Anyone else think that this could be a factor?
  7. Down to 19 right now, which I believe is my lowest thus far this season.
  8. I assumned when you menyioned the lower Hudson Valley you meant south of Orange/Dutchess counties. I would considered my end of the Hudson Valley the lower end of the Mid-Hudson if that makes any sense.
  9. I had the lightest of dustings on my car at home but as I drove into Middletown early this morning there was a decent coating with a few fender benders.
  10. Just counted 17 snowflakes falling from the sky.
  11. I don't know why each year I'm still amazed at the amount of people living model to model run tracking storms that are always 200 or more hours away.
  12. IMBY, snow is in the forecast tonight, I'm looking for at least a couple of feet in spots by morning ;-)
  13. I'm home today so I could watch the temp drop 17 degrees in an hour or so from what I remember (I was cyber shopping with my wife so I could be a bit confused
  14. In the mean time though, Wednesday looks interesting even if it's not snow.
  15. You won't be the only one, we'll need a conductor for the crazy train, what's Ozzy doing these days?
  16. Its a ways off still but from what I'm reading in in the other threads about the 12Z Euro sounds like we could be sitting in the same spot that we were last year with the exception of the last week of Feb
  17. It's been spitting snowflakes off and on here but I wouldn't say it ever made it to flurries over this way.
  18. Close to the same here, .45 and 45 here now too.
  19. My son who is in Mechanistown confirmed the snow. I'm in New Windsor today, nothing here yet and I'd be surprised to get snow here close to the river, 40.7 here at my folks.
