At 2 pm, PDT, Portland had a temperature of 109°. That destroys the daily record of 98°, set in 2000. It also surpasses the all-time record high of 108° that was set just yesterday. The difference over yesterday at this time has increased to 13°.
Is that heat headed towards us anytime soon? I certainly hope not!

Heal fast and thorough, RE. You have plenty of fine posts ahead of you. As always ……
Thank you I had my belly button hernia done and it’s not an easy surgery but it’s done now and I’m happy I did it. Though I wish I did it during spring or fall. But my job didn’t let me do that so here I am. Outside again very nice under the shade with a bit of a breeze. Currently 88 degrees!

Poor Portland that weather must suck.

Kinda nasty day today. Had my surgery couple of days ago now just laying in bed. Went outside once and I’m done for the day.

because thats boring, I'd rather have 105 and dry
Yes 105 and dry would be okay I’ve been to Phoenix at 120 and dry and it’s bad but not nearly as bad as 100 and humid!

@forkyfork @bluewave you guys this think the park hits 100 at some point? If not now maybe later on
I hope we don’t hit 100, that’s just disgusting. Why can’t we be happy with 85 and dry

That looks cooler than the older run hopefully that trends cooler because honestly who wants 90’s with high dews when you can have days like today 70’s with no humidity

Wow James may you Rest In Peace, I’ve read a lot of passionate posts about snowstorms and those will surely be missed. Condolences to everyone who knew him and his family and friends. Way too young! RIP

Good morning all, it’s 59 degrees with that muggy feeling, I can’t wait for some real heat hopefully it doesn’t get too humid. I’m originally from Europe and the weather here during the winter is much colder and much more humid during the summer still never really get used to it. I’m looking to move when I retire in a few years to Lake Tahoe
