Radar not looking too hot now. Still wondering about that low level moisture. Any observations? Is it snowing in places where nothing is showing on radar?
Not currently. That’s all she wrote for the snow. Prepare for dangerous temps and icy conditions with all the rain we received

Well. It’s a light snow shower in Sweetwater. Fingers are froze from standing outside

Too little. Too late for the snow.

Temperature starting to drop in Monroe County.

Won’t let me embed the video but the wind is outrageous in Sweetwater.

Strong gust in Sweetwater now.

Not liking how it seems to be drying up.

Looks like dry air is starting to affect the system.

Light rain shower movies through. Clear skies now. Should help the temperature drop some before the next wave arrives.

The Clarksville station is now 31, it says rain as the ptype but the ptype radar is blue over it now.
Started watching a station about 15 miles east of it, it went from 44 to 36 in 7 minutes.
I’d give most of Nashville 10-15 mins before the front arrives. It seems like there is more moisture available with the system.

I just watched a Clarksville weather station drop 9 degrees in 10 minutes. The rain/snow line should be through there in the next 10 minutes or so.
I’m currently sitting at 44.1 with gust out of the west in Sweetwater. We may see a faster changeover here than anticipated

Looked at a temp map of the US and the cold air has made it well into Texas to the Mexico border. Maybe I’m wrong but I don’t remember it being modeled that far south. Could the front dig far enough to pull up GOM moisture?
.It’s definitely possible. Seems like the front is directly over Collersville as I type this.

Yes it’s very windy
.It’s not a warm breeze either. I was putting my pool cover on it felt noticeably cooler than it had been. Current OBS maps show how much cooler we are than the middle Tennessee as well.
