Only elevations south of NH/ VT border . Berks/ ORH hill in N ORH county
You to Union north still have a good shot at snow out of this, really hills of E CT/RI north

That is a pretty damn near textbook evolution of the 500mb pattern and how H5 closes off and where it tracks.
What may bode well too is there isn't a cluster cluck of shortwave mess. There's plenty of shortwave energy around but only a few distinct major pieces.
If you're outside of the far interior and don't have elevation, dynamics are going to be critical but there is plenty of cold air available not far away.
Not shocked at all if this happens given the way the season has gone; we are about to turn the table spring warmth and big dog like this would usher in the the pattern change.

Unreal amounts of rain again in Rhode Island. How that place hasn't floated away is beyond me.
Trust me I know, I just drove through it. One section of 295 down hill at the RI line was flooded at the bottom, torrents running off the hill sides.

Ended with 2.97" in Woodbury. 14-18mph sustained now, not much in the way of gusting over that though.
Perfect mount of wind to dry us

Getting you ice storm? Wonder if you can hold onto that once the heavier rain gets here?

When we are throwing up 3-4” rainfall totals in December and January a 2-3” storm in March becomes Meh. We’ve had a good week to dry out from the last deluge.

This is actually a huge event up north...but glad I never got roped in.
Wondering if there is a chance we see some column cooling enough that down to Hub Dave sees some snow out of this?

2-4” of rain for CNE and SNE. Just when things were drying out. Back to mud season and water pouring out of hills for a week
Sell the 4”, 2-2.5 seams reasonable

Skiing is ridiculously overpriced with a family if you don’t live close by.
I suppose I could go to Wachusett?
Although, a lot of people in FL do plan trips out west to Ski during school vacation

Have you been in Florida for the summer/ dude I guess living inside in AC is a thing
I guess I can speak to this, summers weren’t too bad as long as you got afternoon storms to cool things down; dry summers were tough going from May to October with 90+ and dews above 70; but like anything you adjust. I miss the ocean, non rocky beaches and not having to pay $20+ to park to go to them.

The only clarity is how much snow you are getting.
