And with that winter goes out with a whimper. Already warm enough to topdress small grain across most of the state, and if recent history repeats, March usually torches more than freezes.
7" total for year, 1" from last night.

Looks like 1" in Easton, already melting away

Does not look like much has changed. 1" to 4". @CAPE has the best chance to see frontogenitals, upside maybe 5", downside genitals. Hopefully @AlexD1990 can scrape together 2" down the beach.

42 here with high clouds.
Oddly not worried at all about temps. Dry air, radiational cooling early, and evaporative cooling when precip starts will do the trick. No UHI issues here. Missing the heavier precip/good banding would be the failure mode.
Agreed on the precip, 43.5/19 in Easton, some high thin clouds

Pretty tight gradient on the south side

Looks like 2" to 4" pretty much region wide.

1.48", 6.67" for the month

Still going on, not as heavy as some bands earlier today, roads are covered again but it was only a dusting. Enough to make everything slick.

Just measured 3" probably closer to 3.5" with compaction

Right at 4" now. Too bad it isnt a few degrees colder. Would be less compaction.
Was thinking the same thing. 31.8 right now.

Snuck into the southern edge of the heavy band down here, @CAPE to Dover in it to win it, hoping to max this out to 4" down this way, somewhere between 2.5 and 3" now.

Just got home and 2.5" here. Steady light to moderate snow falling.
Same in Easton, glad it filled in
