The last couple of runs of eps kind of kills the +PNA in the long range. We can't have that for a favorable pattern.

Yeah it was fun.. there are 74"+ reports coming out near Buffalo. All you need is a strong -NAO or -EPO arctic airmass. If we go into a La Nina next Winter in the heart of this -PDO or whatever it is, it might be a good Winter to go north at some point. Going out on the frozen ice mounds on the lake was fun too.
Historically, I'm pretty sure they don't do as well with ninos up there.

Measured 2.7". I have a feeling I lost some to drizzle earlier.

Wth is going to bullseye? lol

Funny how radar is better south of D.C. than north.

Another wsw for D.C. perhaps?

Largest flakes I've experienced this week. Nice D.C. special!

Popcorn look to radar coming in from WV. Looks light but that look is what I've been expecting. Maybe some brief heavies pop with that stuff.
You might just bullseye!

Would like to see some yellow speckles start to pop on radar at some point. Better lift happening now but still nothing exciting yet.
I see that just north of you. Tiny yellow speckles.

Drizzle slowing transitioning to snowflakes.

Band seems to have weakened a little on approach - but flake size and intensity have picked up.
Although weaker, it's filling in to the west.

3km looks drier to me, but I’m staring at tiny maps on my phone
It's a slightly weaker low.

Pivotal snow depth maps looks identical to 18z for the 3km NAM, but the 10:1 map is much less for some reason.
Mid/Late February will be rocking. (This year we mean it!) February long range discussion.

I consider that very little change.
