  1. My betting over/under would be just a trace at KGSO. But at least snaps the snowless streak. Technically.
  2. I’ll settle for some mood flakes with temps plummeting here. The December storm feels ancient.
  3. Choosing to ignore certain poster content is liberating.
  4. What about a sub-sub forum for just Carolinas? Or is that too deep into the Matrix...
  5. Moved to Winston from NW DC in summer 2017. Been watching LWX feed all day. Beautiful spin with UL swinging through MA. Nice dendrites too.
  6. Same progression here. Spotty sleet earlier, now just rain.
  7. Pretty nice temp gradient in just 80 miles between here and Blacksburg. Jives with the CC on RadarScope. Who said science isn’t cool.
  8. Fingers crossed we hover around 32-33 here. Seems to be working so far, plus 1-2 deg. If it ain’t snow, keep it liquid plz.
  9. Just cold rain now, no pings or bounces.
  10. Very light mixed precip here downtown
  11. Nothing hit the ground in Winston under the Radar returns past hour. Virga party.
  12. IMO that’s a good thing. Unless the NAM version meant snow. Which I don’t think is possible here in Triad, given the setup. So if it’s ice or rain, give me the rain plz.
  13. Totally agree. Tracking ice is like some funny analogy that I can’t think of. My sister lives in Fredericksburg VA and can’t wait for all the hourly pictures she’ll gloat with. Think that area jackpots.
  14. Snow wise, has the look/feel of car-topper at best in Triad before we torch mid-levels. I really hate freezing rain.
  15. Got very quiet in here. I remember when I was younger living in northern VA...when St. Louis got snow, DC and north was in the game down river. South of RIC...no bueno. Next.
  16. Rather have 55 degree torch rainstorm than sleet/ice. -Captain Obvious
  17. 96 hours-ish from potential precip start here in NC Triad. Reel. It. In.
  18. Weekend storms are a real thing. Would love to see data on most common days of the week for MA/SE snow events. 6” plus.
  19. Wind driven moderate snow downtown Winston. Small pixel flakes.
