    I don't think there's one person who doesn't think or didn't know we're going over to a mix sooner or later so it won't be a surprise when it does, lol!

    By the time we mix, the true deep deep moisture will be long gone then we have to wait for the reach around if there is any!

    Vis has got to be down to an 1/8 - 1/4 of a mile if that with the blowing and drifting!

    Yep, incredible rates with winds whipping it about, a tru tru snowstorm for once this yr, wow!

    I definitely don't like that bright banding that just entered the picture down across the Eastern Finger Lakes and its moving ENE at a rapid pace so if we do happen to go over to IP/ZR earlier we're toast once again, lol! Gotta love the winter of 2018-19!

    It pushed it back by an hr I heard, lol, so we'll see but even with the changeover, by then most of the deep moisture is behind us so I'm not too concerned, YET!

    Yes for the first time this yr, it actually looks like a snowstorm out there, but too bad it took till February for it to happen, lol.

    Flake size has increased dramatically the past half hr or so and if it continues like this for 8-10 hrs, I can easily see close to a foot falling especially across the Tug where it should start snowing real soon and continue through tomorrow!

    Easy 1-1.5"/hr as we're getting absolutely hammered here North of the City!

    Remember we're snowing with a fairly dry BL so once she saturates just imagine the rates, lovely!

    Snows already flyin here, as it didn't take long at all for saturation like I thought! Won't take long now for things to really ramp up. Haven't even looked at sn growth so I hope its decent accumulating type flakes, cause if not, it'll be another wasted synoptic event to columns and plates instead of dendrites!

    Temp keeps dropping as well as we're now down to 18 down 2 degrees in the last hour.

    Damn, I just went outside for a couple of minutes and its wicked cold, super windy and its just about to start snowing as the sky has that look to it, but mam its cold!

    Tell you guys one thing, its coming in like a wall, the snow that is so its not gonna take long to ramp up and to saturate so it's right on our doorstep!

    I think that includes the pretty intense lake band their expecting to develop sometime on Wednesday so we'll see but their pegging Central and Southern Oswego Cty and the central and Southern Tug. I'll be happy with 6-10" tbh as my expectations are real low right now so we'll see.

    Why did they close before it started? I think a 2hr delay would of sufficed.

    I hope every forecast out there busts especially the TUG and the Cuse so we can finish in one of the top 10 least snowiest Winters! Everyone expects over a foot with every system and we all put too much stock into precip amounts and snowfall totals as they don't mean shite and almost NEVER pan out especially in and around my area!.. We're forecasted to get between 9-15" between now and Thursday Afternoon and if I get half of that I'll be happy!
