  1. I'll take one or two more of them 10/15 mile nudges of northern extent shifts if the Euro is handing them out. Its the only model that still holds weight to me. I miss the EURO/NAM combo.
  2. Yeah I'm pretty much numb to it now. Take what I can get. WX model addiction hasn't been impactful to my health in yrs now. This is all bonus stat padding snows to me this early anyways. Climo and Living by Lake Michigan is not kind to me until later in Dec just in time for grinch storms lol.
  3. This is a nice start to the best time of yr on the board. Some nice winter threats already this fall for those to hone up their winter tracking skills. At this pace it won't be long and all of page 1 will be void of severe wx threads. Good thing we have winter to pay the bills around here because severe wx's been on leave. Trend SE in this time frame is alive and well again I see for winter 8 in a row now?
  4. Looks like close to 2.5" on top of the bird feeders. Gorgeous out.
  5. Hearing Plunging NAO never excites me. Its cute in the fall i suppose to thread the needle on a nice fall snow event.
  6. when the wx models start dropping some HR 180 QPF dreams skirting the western shores of LM. I get extra model humping suckered in 100% of the time and I wouldn't want it any other way. I love that we get to follow along with you all that reside in them extra special Nathans snow climates of the great lakes. I have a good feeling we'll be seeing some great LES events documented this fall and winter here.
  7. Best.. summer ..ever. And Autumn is just around the corner
  8. Keep your luck bish I'm banking for a chance of winter jackpots. Bring back Geo's.. Since he's been gone.. Winter snow has been MIA.
  9. You hogged all of the thunder again until a last second blowup over me. dropped a nice quick down pour on a chimney of charcoal I had fired up to finish off a nice sear on some ribeye's. You steak lovers need to check this out and follow the directions.
  10. Yeah I'd rather eat a Jonger smoked carp over walleye that size. Walleye is overrated to begin with. That body of water is a walleye factory though.. Enjoy. Barf
  11. Went on here. Probably cleared out in the nick of time for most all also. Boooooo.
  12. Lame... heat and no storms yet again.. though it can rain any other time this spring and young summer. Bring on Cold and dry over this change of underwear every 3 hr horse ****.
  13. 16 days with precip this month so far. 10 day's of highs in the 60's and prob another handful not much better in to very low 70's.
  14. Quite the soaking yesterday and today.. Guessing between 2.5-3" with today's added on 92 yesterday afternoon to 58 right now.
  15. Brutal in the middle of the country. At least that's not planted over Cali again and they find a break from the relentless hell out there for some yrs. Is there thinking that the heat dome works its way east more as the summer progresses?
  16. Dodged the heat for most of today. I had a feeling watching the overnight stuff play out that we'd take longer to get the wind to turn around.
  17. 10/10 chore morning or any AM for that matter. 64/61 out there.. Get away from the lake and it's pushing 80's/70
  18. Rain don't want to give up imby but nothing crazy in the qpf department, id say it has to be over an inch - maybe 2 when all said and done? Madison sounds legit in areas. AT 126 AM CDT, LOCAL LAW ENFORCEMENT REPORTED FLASH FLOODING IN AND AROUND THE MADISON METRO AREA. NUMEROUS VEHICLES ARE STRANDED. WATER IS ENTERING THE LOWER LEVELS OF HOUSES AND APARTMENT BUILDINGS. THE FIRE DEPARTMENT IS PERFORMING WATER RESCUES. TWO TO FIVE INCHES OF RAIN HAVE ALREADY FALLEN ACROSS THE MADISON METRO AREA, WITH THE HIGHEST AMOUNTS IN THE SOUTH CENTRAL AND SOUTHWEST PARTS OF THE METRO AREA. FLASH FLOODING IS OCCURRING AND EXPECTED TO CONTINUE!
  19. I have my eye to west central wisco before bed to see if anything can maybe sustain a trip to the SE and add in a little early AM distraction to HHH. I wouldn't mind a cooler first half of the day to get some chores and running around done in the AM before the flip.
  20. One last little blowup over the city to stat pad the qpf a touch and it looks to wind down pretty fast. Rotisserie Roaster tomorrow.
  21. You won't want to be standing under the bank clock in chicago tomorrow
  22. Cool little MCS.. its taking its time exiting. Should be some nice rain totals and the light show has been frequent and close hits to make me head to the living room instead of glued to my desk in front of the windows. It kicked up nice pre-MCS and you just knew something was brewing but it arrived with some gusty 30/35 mph winds and once that slowly blew through the winds have behaved. Very enjoyable stuff. Been a bit since I've had this. She's sinking out of here to the border now. Maybe that stuff to the west and north some can dilly dally around for another 6 hrs
