No, I didn't see it...but that's nuts.

I'm confused by the talk about potential flooding - WPC has our area getting about 1" of rain total over the next 7 days and CTP has me getting less than 1". What am I missing?
MU did say yesterday that he wasn't concerned about flooding whatsoever.
Edit: WPC now has our area getting a total of .50" - 1.00"

Today is a Holliday in Baltimore.

0.00" of rain and 57 this morning. Frankly, surprised that I dropped below 60 given the late evening temps.

67 at 10:35pm - not bad.

You can buy a Wal-Mart $100 special that will blow over every few weeks...not wanting to go that route.
I saw a few of those in our previous development...they were pretty much useless in a matter of weeks after they were put up.

Warmest day of 2024 - 78.2 here at 3:05pm.

Sunshine and 74 at 12:50pm. A few thermometers might push 80 in a few hours.

On vis satellite Presque Isle is 100% clear.

Yeah it's cloudy and miserable here. I decided to not take the trip to Presque Isle because I figured it would be cloudy and there's just no reason to place myself in a million people 2 and a half hours away for nothing.
Every school in the state is letting out for this. What a joke.

It looks like there's an area of clearing making a beeline for NW PA? On the GOES satellite it looks like the cloud deck will be gone in an hour or so. Maybe I'm wrong.

It may create the low for the day at MDT :-)
In areas of totality, what is the expected temp drop if skies are clear? I'm sure there are a ton of variables but was just curious what an estimate might be.

#3 for me
some of my fondest memories are being in Pittsburgh from the mid 70s through about 81. My dad and I Pirates fans. Our parents would take us twice a year, once when they played the Phils (brothers team) And then the Reds (My moms team) most times we'd be at all games from Friday through Sunday. We would stay at the Hilton on the other side of the bridge. Opposing teams always stayed there. My brother and i would ride the elevators getting autographs.
That's awesome. Great memories. I mostly went during the 1980s. Didn't return to Pittsburgh again until 2011 when I started our now annual tradition of Steelers games with my son.

@sauss06 - can we please agree to never talk about the 1971 and 1979 MLB seasons?
Thanks in advance!

I'm a lifer and haven't been happy since like the early 90's
Growing up, I went to Three Rivers once each summer with my uncle who was a Buccos fan. I was used to going to the Vet where big crowds were normal. We'd go out to Pittsburgh without tickets on a Sunday afternoon and I'd think we'd end up sitting up top in the outfield...nah. Some of those years we ended up right behind the dugout in the first row or two. Pirates drew very poorly considering how good they were back then. Pittsburgh has such a great baseball history but the city is definitely all about the Steelers.
Having said that...when they were a wild card team several years ago the city was juiced.

Low of 36 here. Mow #2 is in the cards for me today. Gonna need my machete for some of these clumps.
I mowed for the 5th time yesterday.
I had to look up Diggerland after your post yesterday...I hope you and your son had a great day! Man, I wish this existed or I knew about it 25+ years ago when our oldest son was very young. He was a construction truck fanatic and would have gone nuts at Diggerland!

33 with frost in Maytown. Yesterday's high was 63.
Pirates have a ton of young talent. Too bad they can't play the O's more often.
