I'll be in San Antonio for this. Would be nice to run into some of you folks down there.
I’m flying in Friday night and spending Saturday in SA. Driving west a couple hours for Sunday and Monday, and back to SA Tuesday and Wednesday.

One of those days where the building is shaking from the wind hitting it. Or feels like it is. I mean, I am 20 floors up so it's probably not literally shaking but...still. In any event, windy.
You’re definitely swaying.

How is this thread so active when I need to mow my lawn?

1.02" in the bucket so far today & 41.0 delightful degrees. Looks like tomorrow will be a different story w/a 'reasonable worst case' 10 inches. At least I don't have to fly to Reno to get it lol.
I hear @ravensrule would fly to Thailand to get it. But that’s just a rumor. He probably does just fine locally.

Lots of buds on the trees with some leaf out here at work in Easton. March is the new April.
I need to get out and do some pruning this weekend or I'm going to miss my opportunity.

Long shot, but I'll keep watching the period just after St. Paddy's Day. After that, bring on mid 60's and sun.

I’m a compassionate person, but it’s hard to feel too sorry for the cars stuck I 80. They had to have their head in the sand or be in complete denial if they didn’t know how dangerous that trip would be.

6z GFS snows on us on the 11th. 0z was close.
Any interest in the time around St. Paddy’s Day? I know it’s a long way off, but any chance in the evolution of the pattern the gfs is showing?

It’s February 28 and there are daffodils blooming along 29 in Ellicott city. I think we might be permanently screwed.

Anyone seen Mappy lately? I feel like she hasn't been on the board all winter.

Moon talk. Like we were ever there.

20" is above average in my yard. Did that 2 winters ago.
If next year is the nina some are expecting it to be, you may find me living in a tent in your backyard.

March 17, 2014 was legit...we had about 6-8" in Bethesda. March 2018 was about half that, but still a decent event...and was also a reminder that you really need rates during the day to keep up with the sun angle. Once the rates lightened up, it was a wrap.
I was cross country skiing on a golf course and couldn’t believe it was St.Paddy day.
