Did you guys see Matts Facebook post? Longest stretch this year with no measurable precip was 9 days Aug 22-30th. Current stretch is 4 days.

i had to look twice as well. I'm planning on a snow storm, buying beer and snacks. However i won't go as far as gassing up the snow blower, we all know thats trouble. see above

One thing for certain, your enthusiasm always keeps me hopeful. With setups like this, i always think we have a chance. Didn't someone once say, systems like this always move north? whats 50-100 miles among friends right?

It looks to warm up Sunday/Monday after Thanksgiving when another system comes through. Looks to me to be high 40s and rain. Just in time for first day of rifle season

I had a wisdom tooth pulled late Wednesday afternoon so yesterday i wasn't really feeling great ya know. Or i would have been outside drinking beer and on snow removal

Pennlive reporting the 8.3" as a record. I like records, extremes etc..................how many more can we break this year i seriously think we dodged a bullet. Had the temperature not risen, that freezing rain/sleet would have been hell this morning. It would have been like the V-day storm in 06 or 07 (can't remember) or worse. i know for certain i would have lost power.
