So serious question here.  Do you shovel the snow before freezing rain or just let it sit on top?

Ha we had the same convo last night. I feel like shovel before flip, but not too close so another layer of snow can go down then ice. I feel like that’s going to be easier to shovel any ice

Agreed.  I'd want at least a couple of inches of snow under the layer of ice, otherwise you have no chance of getting it clear...it will be a nightmare regardless...i'll probably just wait for it to end tho...

Gotcha,  usually the Fox News weather is updated by humans. There like the weather channel.  Fox News has it's own weather channel and are talking about the upcoming storm.

    there it is

I mentioned in a different thread last week that my wife and I are on baby watch. We're still on baby watch, and now I have a bunch of logistical questions about snow I hadn't previously considered.

For example, what if everything goes great for us and for snow lovers, the hospital discharges us, but our streets aren't plowed?

    get to the chopppppaaaa

Well for my part I didn't have a dog in the fight personally.  But I will say I have a bit of animosity for the Broncos, as a native Clevelander.  I witnessed "The Drive", and "The Fumble" in the AFC championship games in consecutive years (1987, 1988), Cleveland vs. Denver.  Ugh!!!

    :yikes:

OH still reigns supreme. I mean snows supreme.

Bursting tropical vibes lead the way, with papaya upfront and notes of kiwi and lychee following closely behind. Creamy clementine peel rounds out the profile beautifully. Well balanced and dangerously drinkable. A playful nod to a classic bagel and schmear, though it truly shines with lox, tomato, and capers alongside.

we did a blind taste test with a bunch of other half beers and some treehouse beers a while back and the consensus was that they were pretty much interchangeable

Can't imagine he's gonna stick around. That would be unbelievable.

Yeah. I mean a learning curve was to be expected and continuity in a coordinator can be important but would bet an awful lot that he is not here next year.

It’s not like 2023 at all for the fact the defense is so good. If they don’t turn the ball over they win 9 times out 10. It wouldn’t shock me if they repeated or went out in the first round though.

    equal odds imo

We do have a tent (with zippers on the sides) for the reception but might just have to ask everyone to bring umbrellas for the ceremony. That part should be quick though so just 20 minutes without rain between 4:25 and 4:45 is all I ask

There is still quite a bit of spread on the model guidance, with the AI models keeping us dry through midnight Monday and the operational models trending towards a lot of rain, especially the ICON which has been pretty consistent with bringing 2-4+" into the Philly metro. Seems like a lot of moving pieces that need to all be timed pretty perfectly for the serious rain totals and that hasn't worked out for us recently, but that doesn't mean it won't work out this time (and it probably will since this is the one time I don't want it to)! I will note that local NWS discussions and meteorologists seem a lot less bullish on the rain potential than the national ones, which could be hint, or maybe they'll adjust upwards in the coming days.

i was a groomsman in an outdoor wedding on a day it poured...it was memorable and awesome, everyone had umbrellas for the ceremony itself and then took shelter under the tent for the reception...groomsmen snuck a boat out and did a quick fly-by of the reception which was not entirely well received but as long as you have an open bar everyone will have a great time...
