The 12z Euro AI run was close to snow for many of us & has the low moving up from the Outer Banks to off of the VA coast with temps in the low 30s Saturday am.

I was not ready for the 80s in Florida for sure!

As @Bubbler86 mentioned earlier, Friday night into Saturday am is getting more interesting with the chance of snow for most of us to start according to the GFS. Central & northern CTP do well with snow this run, while the LSV has minor accumulation this run. Let’s see what the trends are the next few days & see what model support the GFS gets or not. Here is the 18z GFS.

Lol, greetings! We left Clearwater after the Phillies game today & just got checked into Disney. We enjoyed watching the Spring Training practice & the 2 games. We also had a great chance interaction with Shane Victorino this morning at the training complex. He was kind enough to take a quick family picture with us & signed a baseball! It warmed up today to the mid 80s down here & the humidity escalated a bit. As far as the MU call, I would like to present him with the 12z GEFS. We might not be done tracking yet. Today’s FL temperatures made me not look forward to Summer in PA.

The latest GEFS extended & Euro Weeklies both say that all of us are not done yet with snow this season.

Good thing that I’ll miss the potential cold snap down there. Mrs. Blizz & my daughters would not have enjoyed cold temperatures in Florida.

6z GFS has a storm along the Mid Atlantic coast on St. Patty’s Day evening. This would be a nice welcome back to PA for me!

As you mentioned, the EPO looks to dive negative according to the EPS, which should help with cold air delivery to our region. The other teleconnections also are forecast to be favorable for the 17th to 23rd period. Hopefully the teleconnections will minimize the impacts of the MJO.

Yes, @mitchnick temperatures look to be solidly below normal for the day 10 to 15 period on each of the 12z global ensembles as well.

Each of the 12z ensembles still look have a workable pattern for day 10 to 15.

It’s good that we have 1 more model available on WB, but I’m sad it it doesn’t offer snow maps! The 12z Euro AI still has the strong storm on Mid Atlantic coast on the morning of the 19th. Let’s see how this model performs.

Hey now…much of the county is very nice… Every county has its good & bad.

I’m on board too, especially with these 5 day means on the 3 major ensembles for the period of the 18th to the 23rd.

Frankly, I’d be surprised if we don’t at least have the chance to track a Winter storm chance for some places near our region with the advertised look on the 3 main ensembles for period of the 18th to the 23rd. These are the 5 day ensemble means for the pattern….very consistent.
