I've never seen the GFS so bad.
Every run the last few days is something totally different. What a mess.
Agreed. I know it’s been said before I’m here but it feels like it was more accurate before all the “upgrades”.

Actually 2002 - 2003 was really "good" by NC standards, at least where I was in the Triad. Several minor events and persistent cold. One of my favorites. 2001 - 2002 was awful on the other hand.
I was living in Hickory, NC at the time and remember a very nice storm that dropped around a foot sometime in Jan/Feb, plus we had several nice ice storms.

As bad as things have been, I’ve seriously considered coming back on an emergency basis.
Please take my soul. I can’t take this shit any longer. We need some sacrifices ASAP.

In all seriousness, has there ever been a significant post frontal snow here?
Significant? Not that I can remember… I can remember an event in November of ‘95 where it was warm and we had a frontal passage that produced about an inch in short time.

100 bucks that doesn’t come close to happening.
But there is always ample moisture available after a frontal passage…

Covid 19 test?
Absolutely beautiful night. Many stars shining bright. Not too cold. Minimal wind. Perfect.
Yup. Negative.

Hope you feel better too.
The kiddo has been going to daycare and we’ve all gotten sick 3 times in the last 2 months. Running through the list so fast (flu, cold, rsv…)
I appreciate it.
Yeah, I hear that. All three of mine were sick in the last month as well. I thought my wife and I had escaped it, but I felt it coming on yesterday… Today it hit me like a ton of bricks…

Down to 28. This air is the driest (dews 0-5 deg) I’ve felt in decades.
Had a nasty cough for a week, and the dry air is making it worse.
Hope ya feel better. I came down with something today. Cough, chills body aches and zero energy

Wonder where snowman19 is .? Hmmm, wonder what he's thinking of that big EPO Ridge that just shouldn't be so far east according to his belief regarding the NPAC SST Profile. Lol.
He’s combing through Twitter to find something to support his bullshit.

The Euro is about to come around and show a foot for us, so we only need to behave for another hour and 30 minutes.
Or follow the other guidance off the coast…
