  1. My statement was a factual one...not to be judged as serious nor sarcastic...
  2. That's how "Mother Earth" expels heat....
  3. Unless you have performed scientific experiments re: PDO, stop playing loose with SCIENTIFIC terms....you have a "hypothesis".....not a theory! And you have the nerve to call this a "non-scientific" board, when it is obvious you have no CLUE as to the methods of scientific deduction!! lolz!
  4. Point 1: AGW is a hypothesis...not a theory....as written it is not testable on a human timescale.... Point 2: The AGW hypothesis could be falsified, yet the laws of thermodynamics remain quite intact...
  5. Oh...ok...so most are in agreement that he posts for entertainment purposes only....Got it!
  6. Are you losing it?....or never had it to begin with?....You are going to post yourself into obscurity....READ!!!!!!!
  7. Which is even more the reason to NOT post it at all...it makes you look silly. Operational models don't have any "climate change/CO2" parameter in them...the model doesn't "see" climate change...thus it's output at 384 hours is non-related, regardless of the degree of anomaly....
  8. T+228....I'll go out on a limb and say that verification of that time, will be colder that that prog...
  9. Agreed 99%...I assume you had "skepticism" of the mainstream montra "eat low fat" to be healthy, to come to your conclusions of "sugar is the main culprit"....now carry some of that skepticism over to AGW, and voila, you'll see some parallels wrt the mainstream conclusions drawn...IOW...politics (on both sides) skews the truth...and/or skews the degree of certainty in either direction of the applicable argument...
  10. Funny how my total cholesterol went down substantially as my dietary cholesterol certainly went up...go figure!! High cholesterol is a symptom of inflammation of the arterial walls....well known to be caused by high blood glucose/insulin....cut the sugar/carbs, and voila, inflammation goes down, serum cholesterol will do so in kind...
  11. Last OT response, but I usually eat at least 1 pound of beef per day...and average around 6 eggs per day (give or take)....throw in an occasional chicken thigh with skin, and some shrimp and there's my way of eating!!! Good stuff!!
  12. Been eating red meat everyday for basically 10 years!! My cholesterol went from 300 (with the "good" HDL of 32) to 205 (with the HDL rising to 59!!) My doctor says "whatever you are doing...keep doing!!" Perfect health!! As for your assertions regarding AGW....let's say they are on the extreme end of plausibility....

  14. Yeah, I too, am trying to figure out his argument....I wonder if a period of "normal-ish" weather will also be evidence of AGW as a whole...the AGW catch net seems quite large in some circles. BTW, Will, you don't get enough credit for your services on this board as a moderator, esp. the CC forum. Your fairness, demeanor and overall moderating tact is quite an "American" asset! LOL...Thanks!
  15. Funny, by the criteria set forth to determine that 97%....I fit right in!! So how ya doin' fellow warmer?!!
  16. Now that is an objective take! Much different from the first few pages of this awful thread!
  17. Kind of off topic from what has been posted in this banter thread, but this seems as good a place as any to ask my question. We often hear that there are scientists out there that are supposedly on the dime of the oil companies (to protect their interests, as implied) which therefore, reduces the credibility of that scientist. My question is this. If the oil companies are so hell bent on skewing the science by recruiting (paying big bucks) scientists, do we have evidence that Hansen, Jones, Mann (ie the big guns of AGW hypothesis)have EVER been offered money to "join the big oil team"?? IOW, wouldn't those big names have ever mentioned that they'd been approached?? Wouldn't those fine folks have been the most targeted by Big Oil to "flip"?? Just a thought exercise.
  18. Skier is a pseudo-skeptic wanna-be! (Hey, a new category!!)

My Aunt took this photo during what has been deemed "the death band" of the Blizzard of 2013...unofficially 7"/hr.
