They just closed schools in Franconia. Seems excessive for 3” of snow! Grrr

3-5/8” so far. Very pretty snow! Should be a good opening day

I'd take it. It's been nice to have snow on the ground these past few days. Hard to remember that it's not even Thanksgiving yet... Not sold on not getting lots of liquid with this one though. Our forecast is not too promising but I'd love to be wrong!

It should be. My kid actually decided to step on the ice on a smaller one we have on the other side yesterday and broke through; but after a night this cold I imagine it would support him much better. Not that I want him to try lol -

Down to 18 already. With the snow on the ground, feels like Fall is a distant memory lol. Gene not sure how to get that link... Works on my phone but it opens in Apple News.

That's good news for us. The resort fired up the snow guns today and they are hoping to be able to get some good base to hopefully open next weekend. Once Thanksgiving rolls around, we need skiing to keep business going!

We are getting plastered at the moment. Piling up quickly! Ski resort got more than a foot at the top. -
Went over to very heavy snow now... Need a squall warning Lol

I was just at a meeting with the head of the ski resort here - over a foot at the top! Snow makers starting up this afternoon. Meanwhile, very pretty snowgloby morning but still wet in the valley.

Aaaaaand we lost internet. Don't think it's storm related, seems to happen on a daily basis lately

It's interesting that the temperature has been pretty constant but the dp has come up a couple of degrees making the snow much wetter. I don't have much expectations for this part of the storm, I think if we get anything decent it's on the back side
