Hey question for you NNE weather peeps. I'm out of town next week (off to Lake Tahoe). The whole December thread is full of "the warmup is coming."Our AFD says "continued well below normal Temps." So... Are we getting a warmup???

Got sunny here for day for the first time in what feels like weeks, after 1/2" of the lowest water content snow you can get overnight. Party cloudy with fat flurries now. 

Nice! About an inch for us. Enough to hide any ice from yesterdays rain and make it feel like winter again

Pack holding up surprisingly well. Down to 15"

It was a full on thunderstorm here. We were actually about to take the kids skiing and it started pouring and we had maybe 10 or so lightning strikes and really  loud thunder. And of course the resort shut down. 

Getting some insane lightning strikes here. Wtf?

Snowstake has become readable again, 16" depth. We'll see how we make it with these 24 hours above freezing in the forecast.

I definitely can't compete with Scott... he knows what he's doing. Most of mine are c**p taken with a cell phone. The only reason they look somewhat good is because the mountains offer lots of great picture opportunities, but every time I look at the ones I take compared to the original I realize the skill that people like Scott have.

1" of snow and sleet here. I was expecting a decent slug of rain but from the radar it looks like me might avoid?

Can't remember seeing this much rime ice ever last year. The flipside, we haven't seen the seen in what feels like weeks. 

It's been a great stretch. Sad that it's over... At least for now (and hopefully not for long).

Bretton Woods in general is a cold spot - it radiates very well being a bowl at 1500+ feet; my spot happens to be just about the lowest point in that bowl, along the river, so it's probably as good as it gets for radiational cooling. We don't CAD very well though

I have, but not this year yet. Coldest temp was -31.9 last year. So far this year the Coldest has been -11

42" for the month here. I won't complain. 

Some cool ice rime here today in the higher elevations

As was Bretton Woods. Just awesome to have glades open in November. 

Still snowing lightly here, another 0.25" or so this afternoon. Glades are open! 

43" so far this year; last year to date was 11. Quite a difference...

Wowzer. At first look I thought they got so much snow that the lift got buried, Mammoth-style. Not so much I guess...

3.25" overnight with some very light snow falling. Looks like this is the final stretch though, and some rain in the later part of the weekend? Perfectly normal for this time of the year, but it sure is fun to have this.

Yes, I own a 32 acre lot with 4 houses on it just at the entrance of Bretton Woods, below the West Mountain ski trails - 1 mile from the base area

No I own a vacation rentals company, Bretton Woods Rentals. We are a lodging partner of the ski resort but completely unrelated. We manage about 25 properties

The landscape is pretty surreal even for a snowy area like ours right now. Just amazing this early on. Can't even see my Xmas decorations anymore 

Moderate snow, 1.5" so far this evening, bringing the total to 15.25"
