  1. Having some fun time before it gets washed down the Ammonoosuc
  2. No worse than last year lol
  3. Fingers crossed I don’t float down the river. If we got 5” of rain here I’d be f-d. P&C says 1-2” rain and now has a switchover around 3 am, before it was saying noon so that would also help. The 5-12” forecast would be a nice way to get over the flood threat
  4. In this situation I’m all for flaccid… we have renters so the anxiety is real lol
  5. Our forecast for this storm has 2” of rain and 2” of snow. Seems equitable
  6. Taking the under for my area but I'm hopeful that the further East development will increase the odds for some upslope in the aftermath. And upslope > synoptic any day for me
  7. Awesome Christmas vibe tonight
  8. In the meantime, great ski day
  9. 1.5” here, 3” at the stake. Resort reporting 3” but that’s not surprising with a little extra elevation
  10. That's definitely true - usually "events" are blah for us, then the excitement starts when the upslope follows. That said, Bretton Woods still manages to have the best snow quality of any Northeast resort I've tried hands down, so I'd rather ski on good snow after 3" then ice after 10"...
  11. Yeah I’m a bit puzzled as well. I just noticed that Littleton went from 1-2” to 6-8”, and we want from the 4-6 zone to the 8-12. We just have some very light snow and the temperature is not budging, so things need to change pretty dramatically to get there. Of course there’s the upslope but that’s not going to give Littleton more than 1”, and doubtful it would be more than 4-6 for us.
  12. Nothing happening here aside from some light flurries. Bring me the upslope, this is annoying me already... Really cool gradient though with the heavy stuff earlier. Barely accumulated (and then melted) in the valley, but when it stopped you could see the condos roofs brown for the bottom condos, semi-white in the middle, and plastered white for the top ones -- all this within less than 200 ft of elevation change. Not sure I remember ever seeing such a strong gradient right at valley floor.
  13. It is ripping! Huge flakes. Still a bit warm at 33.4 but dropping steadily
  14. All snow here, lighter and wet at the base, heavier and sticking to everything at the top
  15. Flakes falling but pretty toasty, 35/32. Feels damp and cold though
  16. I had the same experience with Geico. Started with a great rate, then a year later it exploded for no reason
  17. Saw a good one in Iceland. There it’s almost a nightly event, but just like it here, it’s cloudy A LOT
