GSP does have communication problems..However this morning they put out one of the better maps I have ever seen. It was a warning/advisory map and showed specific areas in each county and the product they were under

Yep WSW are up for Asheville with 4 to 10 but when you go to the snow map it shows Buncombe County .9 inches of snow where as before this it was 2.7 inches of snow.  Shows Waynesville 3.2 and Brevard 2.3, that doesn't make sense.

Exactly. The writing is on the wall..It would take 4 or 5 good events to get us back on track for a good winter. This is gonna be tough.

5" outside of Robbinsvile now..GSP said less than 1" in their forecast 

3" at 2100'  1 mile north of Robbinsvile. 28°

Another decent hit for the mountains at 0z..

A front this strong coming through never made sense with the earlier models showing very little upslope.
