Yep WSW are up for Asheville with 4 to 10 but when you go to the snow map it shows Buncombe County .9 inches of snow where as before this it was 2.7 inches of snow. Shows Waynesville 3.2 and Brevard 2.3, that doesn't make sense.

GSP never ceases to suprise me

GSP snowfall map tough to look at.
-
GSP saying 6:1 ratios so these high amounts being spit out would be cut drastically

Truthfully im not impressed with the upcoming pattern. Everything cuts then get have a cold front then back to warmth because majority of the cold air is in the Rockies. Im just about done with January at this point. Things have not trended well.
Exactly. The writing is on the wall..It would take 4 or 5 good events to get us back on track for a good winter. This is gonna be tough.

Seems like intensity might be picking up again. Hopefully it’ll last into the morning.

Don't think this upcoming pattern is the one. Probably best to blow it up with a warmup and start over in January.
But this was hailed as the pattern of all patterns...best in almost 15 years...lol

Another decent hit for the mountains at 0z..

A front this strong coming through never made sense with the earlier models showing very little upslope.

I wouldnt quite right off the valley...especially central/northern areas. Going to depend on how quickly that front can plow off the plateau and how much moisture transport makes it over from the lakes.
Looks great for the Skyway!
