According to the ERSSTv5 data that came out today, the eastern N. Atlantic Ocean (10°-25°N / 130°-165°W) had the coolest July sea surface temperatures since 1974. For the entire north Atlantic though, a side-by-side of July 2018 and July 1974 is not much of a comparison at all. pic.twitter.com/Sxf7Xscocl
