Sea surface temperatures in the North Atlantic continue to be EXTREMELY anomalously warm, now back to 3.5 standard deviations above the 1991-2020 mean (1-in-4200 probability of occurrence). The SST is 0.40°C above the previous record, and 1.04°C above average. pic.twitter.com/XpW1QCV24h
