Morning ASCAT shows the western part of the East Atlantic disturbance does have some semblance of a circulation trying to form in the convection. Clearly still some vorticity with the eastern "blob" too, though. Models seem to lock onto the western half. We'll see how it evolves. pic.twitter.com/Y6MB4NnJeM
