Interesting to see the CPC OLR anomalies from the last 30 days. Not much sliding east of the dateline in the Central Pacific, but starting to see anomalous convection in the East Pacific (probably due to the east-based Niño), which would act to suppress the Atlantic somewhat. pic.twitter.com/fCwa90QpRh
