Getting some decent rain here the past few hours, moderate to heavy at times. Finally over an inch. Much of today and tonight looks fairly rain free. Good time to pull some weeds.

Set a second 'cool max' in a row, high was 55.5 degrees, which breaks last year's mark of 59.8 degrees. Only 0.11" in gauge, and around 1.25" has fell since event started, but I will take over the dryness we've had last few months.

Let's see what this fire hose band does. So far, only 0.68" in the bucket. Maybe we'll break 1"

I wonder why the heavier rain never shifted south? I've gotten over an inch which is great, but I'm jealous of all the 3-inch-plus amounts. I've never seen more than just light rain, not even moderate. Edit: LWX disco says rain chances Monday and Tuesday should be focused south of I-66 and Rt 50, so maybe that will finally be our turn.

I figured everything would move east keeping my overall totals down. 2.75" of very beneficial rain...today looks pretty ok and models have backed off for my area tomorrow so maybe a burger is in my future

What a horrible Memorial Day weekend. It's a double whammy for me as I only get a one day weekend because I have to work today AND tomorrow. So that has me irritated, but the weather truly sucks, too. We can't beg, borrow, or steal snow on Christmas, but we sure can do cold, shitty, wet summer holidays.

Noticed Killington still making turns on Superstar. Snow depth look pretty stout too.
