  1. Past hour
  2. Looks like some light OES (or freezing drizzle) in the southerly flow, mostly near and east of the CT/RI border. Maybe a few snowflakes, but illustrates the wind direction nicely.
  3. Well, that warm nose didn't take long at all. To be expected I guess. 100% sleet currently.
  4. 36.3 with closing in on .44” …. I’ve seen closer misses. .
  5. Steady snow with good size flakes. Temp went from 30.6 to 27.9….solid coating thus far.
  6. Mod snow with good size flakes. Solid coating. 32/28
  7. I assumed those heavy echoes were sleet but expected that to change once further north. We'll see.
  8. Temp got down to 22F earlier in E CT but have since climbed to 26F
  9. Big slug of heavy moisture coming your way. I think you'll be good
  10. Precip moving in fast...really fast. That'll help.
  11. Drove up Old Fort mountain this morning no issues. Unofficially my car never got below 34 from Old Fort to the AVL airport.
  12. True that. Rain or snow, i'm ready to go. I'm out here at 4:10am putting up christmas lights feeling the holiday spirit. Maybe feeling it a little too much.
  13. It’s so clear that local news still draws a a lot of eyeballs when they cover winter weather. Wall to wall coverage. WeatherTracker engaged! Can’t blame them. I’d be lying if I said I don’t still enjoy it. Brings me back to a simpler time when we were all tuned in together. Having said that, NJ declaring a state of emergency for 5 counties, and the on air folks saying stay off the roads unless absolutely necessary seems over the top.
  14. That would be a lot of freezing rain down this way if RGEM is correct.
  15. Today
  16. Light-moderate zr continues here. 31 degrees with about .1-15 ice on every surface. Even my gravel driveway is treacherous.
  17. hah i friggin wish the clouds didnt over take us till 3-4am since the snow shield now is said to be just pre dawn when before it was like 1am. temp is up to 34.4 now
  18. The Nam 6hrs before the event, has folded lol. Looks like hrrr now, northern crew should get their 2”+ hopefully.
  19. What part of Baltimore city? And yep...the Maryland snow elevation cliff if something else, lol
