Wasn’t expecting much this evening but that narrow band delivered. Picked up a quick inch at my house. No idea what to expect tomorrow. The hi-res models are way north, but none of them handled what happened today well. The EC-AIFS has been steadfast on nailing the metro for days and the other globals caved that way. It’s done well in this pattern so there’s that to consider too.

Regardless of the other indicies, the -AO is always the savior for us. Many times over, when it dips down good things always happen around here. Pattern suppression for the win.

It’s the trade off to like an unnecessary cool 42F night in the summer, while south of the Pike is enjoying 60 dews.

Challenge is the schedule has been absolutely insane with the league having to adjust for the two week break. Maybe play him every other game or something. But with the way the D has been crushed with injuries I don’t think they can afford to have him just play 10-15 minutes a game

The clipper pattern is funny. It’s not usually much from an individual storm but they can be so frequent that they add up quick. I bet I got 2-3” today from random a random clipper this morning and a stronger narrow band of snow tonight. Then there is the hybrid one tomorrow that we somehow got a winter storm warning for. Still not convinced that’ll verify. .

Hrrr is near 50 here Wednesday.

I didn't go far, just out to bring some more wood in from the wood shed, but it is beautiful out there! Still lightly snowing from 5:30 this morning. You are colder than I am, 22.8 here.

naw I think mostly snow it will be close though. still a good base here maybe some rain in it would add more meat to it and give it even more staying power
