We’ve started off pretty good here. MKE calling for possibly 6in near the lake in Kenosha and Racine counties with lake enhancement. Every snow so far has far exceeded my expectations. What a change from previous years (although even last year SE WI somehow locally cashed in during the few events we had). Loving this snowy start to winter. Dreaming of a White Christmas for once! Although this weather has been limiting how many Christmas lights and decorations are going up.

Hell, I didn't use 1995...but first warning event in my hood that month was 12/14. 12/9 fell a bit short.

As a Virginia fan... amazing.

2005...Dec 9th. 2017....Dec 10th. 1970...12/17. 2000.....Dec 30 I had 7 December analogs, and only one had a major event week 1...1981. 2021 had none, and 2000 was 12/30. The other 5 were all either week 2 or 3. It's not blind-weenie faith, as I have posted a great deal of research.

If it stalls south of you, you are really going to see some good rates and big flakes from those nice reflectivities crossing the mixing line into the snow.

0z GFS show 2 chances of snow. The first chance is Friday & then another chance early next week.

We're going to wake up to some advisories tomorrow? This is looking more legit than Friday's whiff and we cancelled school from VA to FL for that nonsense! Models definitely not backing down inside of 48 hours.

Saw that. Gonna be a close call here, but thinking we should stay all snow. Flake size has increased finally with enhanced radar returns moving in now. May really see it ramp up in intensity in the next hour or so. Up to about an inch now.

It's put-up or shutup time, no doubt about it. 12/6 already, and we know about that pesky sun angle a month and a half from now...tick tock!!
