Yep-no one is walking on the boardwalk when it's pouring. Parasailing/wave runner/beach umbrella rentals-that money's all gone and not coming back.

They are not likely to "make it up". Lots of $ lost for those folks this weekend. Two of the three big summer weekends was just flushed down the drain.

Weekends have generally be lousy all spring....

Have to believe the bicycle stuff is due at least in part to the tough economy right now. Gas costs eating into people's disposable income? I'm sure the weather does play at least some part though. Hope things pick up for you soon.

So it seems like we set high temp records for all 3 stations on Tuesday and then low max records for two of the three on Saturday ?

I would of been pissed if I went down to the shore for this weekend but work calls. Terrible holiday getaway.

Either way, when you're -15" in the hole, 2.78" in 7 days is merely temporary relief. Hoping a meaningful pattern change is in-progress and that it benefits all areas of the region.

Yeah some rather robust amounts to the south and west of you. Anywhere from 2 to 4 plus inches around here.

They have the rest of the summer to make up for this weekend. 4th of July weekend is another big weekend.

About 1.50” on the weekend so far. It’s a little chilly in the house but I refuse to turn the heat back on after I just turned off the AC a few days ago.

The only folks I feel sorry for this weekend are those that count on nice beach weather weekends to earn a living. It is a short season for them and this long holiday weekend was wasted. The rest of us will survive, it is an annoyance at worst.
