  1. Past hour
  2. A Dec 14 - 17 warmup would be an improvement on the annual Dec 22 - 25 torch.
  3. A public storm report from within the area of Narrowsburg has 8”, so a consistent rate of at least 1” an hour since about 7:15 am. Haven’t seen a blitz quite like this since 3/14/17 or Feb 2021–and those were 2-3 times larger totals wise.
  4. Hearing the plows right now, it seems like the storm has ended and it's clean up time.
  5. Today’s MJO forecasts finally came out: GEFS: Phase 8 12/2-16 (15 days+) EPS: Phase 8 12/3-16 (14 days+) Should either of these progs verify, it would be the longest winter phase 8 in 50 years!
  6. 25.8° SN 5.0” as of about 10-15 mins ago
  7. Snow growth was good earlier when i was under that snow band.
  8. Headed to town in a heavy snow shower, below 1400 feet it was more a misty mix.
  9. 27.8° and mostly sleet and freezing rain, E/NE wind
  10. Nice Gene your white Christmas is a lock this year. Enjoy. Pics??
  11. Should fill in as the cyclone gets going... rapidly too. There's a good slug of dynamics lined up that will only improve as it approaches
  12. 25F Moderate snow Vis est 3/4 miles. Better snow growth than earlier. About 4" fluff
  13. Maybe you can chime into MJO Chief Wiggum about when the big snow is coming for Central Park...
  14. Its just small snow grains right now, My call was 4-8" so i've hit that anyways.
  15. Had 0.7" (0.10" SWE) at 18z for PWM. Maybe we crossed 1" by now but rates and growth have been putrid since it started at 12z.
  16. It’s before Christmas and we’re on our second and possibly third threat. (First being early November snow to the coast). Maybe we don’t all see flakes but that’s a heck of a start compared to last 7 winters
  17. No, I do...I just don't think you will benefit much from it in December. Stop showing me Strat warming links and show me pics of snow in Central Park, or shut it.
  18. @Damage In Tolland will be happy to know im at market basket btw
  19. 850mb fronto really starting to kick into gear upstream as H8 works to close itself off. Heavy rates are likely to develop along the coastal front soon. Central New England still doing nicely under some respectable H7 fronto delivering steady moderate snow
  20. I had some sleet in Lawrence, but still all snow in Methuen.
