Still snowing. Looks close to 0.5” here. Great comeback from where we were at about 5:00. Beautiful out, just took a walk enjoying the cold, snow and Christmas lights around the neighborhood. Radiational cooling or not, it has been a bit since we’ve seen these type of departures sustained over a couple weeks. At any time of year. The low level air masses have been legit. Today was pretty brutal cold at the mountain, sub zero with strong wind.

It is also somehow still snowing here. So far all I can say about the character of this winter is that it just never wants to stop snowing.

At 2:30 pm we were at 49 when the light rain came in and temp has been dropping ever since. Currently 33 and drizzle with snow flurries mixed in.
