  1. Today
  2. I'm not even convinced yet that next week's will pan out as currently modeled by guidance. I'm not saying it won't, but the models continue to overdo the intensity of cold shots time and time again, so I'm a bit skeptical.
  3. I LOVE this type of weather. Mist, upper 40s and fog...there's something about it that I love but everyday.... absolutely not haha It's the same thing with cold wx...there's not one person on earth who could genuinely say.. "I love this 0 degree weather" As one poster said , it's all subjective.
  4. It’s going to be a boring summer with bursts of AN heat and humidity. Hopefully less rain than last summer. Personally, I’m wishing for warm and BN dry.
  5. I don't think so. You really think Anthony is trolling? I genuinely believes he likes this weather, same with Hoodie Guy. He gets weenied and made fun of every time he says he likes this weather and it always baffled me. To each their own is what I say but that's just me, it's all in good fun I suppose.
  6. I'm so sorry that we continue to warm Maybe god or a volcano can help you out.
  7. This argument is so old. To the guys that keep acting like Bluewave has a bias: It just makes you look silly and the reasoning behind it is just sad.
  8. Yup. It’s just trolling
  9. This cold crap from mid April through mid May is the new norm. 32F on May 18 last year. Absurd. Snow in May 2020 absurd. Next weeks air mass has freeze potential.
  10. I really think that deep down, no one actually enjoys this 40 something degrees and damp weather for days on end. I mean could understand the flip side, not liking 90 degree heat with humidity in summer, but it just seems some like to "troll" that we aren't seeing much nice weather.
  11. Looks like the bow will be south of I-70 and indianapolis. That is fine by me. Southern Indiana can keep all the severe stuff. No skin off of my nose.
  12. I enjoy it too. Few days of clouds/drizzle I'm defitnitly okay with but weeks on end gets depressing(aka 2009)
  13. ''Nice'' is a subjective term.
  14. Because it bothers them that we enjoy actual nice weather.
  15. all I can say it is way too cold. Cloudy with 45 degree temps for mid April during the day- BS. Give my heater a rest. No worry with pollen, the drizzle and cold temps keeping the windows shut for now. I see no 75+ degree days until mid May and chance of killing frost or freeze next week. Not a Spring to remember for sure
  16. with eclipse near sundown, make sure your sight lines are excellent. i'd expect most people wanting to be on the coast so mountains don't have an impact
  17. heading to Greenland for 2026. Spain is low in the horizon
  18. Some of the most obnoxious fans I've encountered in hundreds of games all over the country are Red Sox fans. Nothing will convince me otherwise. Not in the same way as Phillies fans, just annoyingly obnoxious. I'd much prefer to be at Oriole Park with Yankees fans than Red Sox fans.
  19. You all had a terrific stretch, great pictures btw. Worlds apart from down here in the southern latitudes
  20. I was at the Vet on Opening Day 1981 when the 1980 World Champions were honored. I was also there in 1972 when the Phillies swept the Mets in a twin bill. 2 wins on one night in a season that they failed to win 60 games.
  21. They changed the Shen Valley zone this year. I ignored it. Because I know my yard. April to early May frosts are normal. Bigger question for me is WHAT or WHO made them change it? https://www.ars.usda.gov/news-events/news/research-news/2023/usda-unveils-updated-plant-hardiness-zone-map/
  22. well said... need to get to the center line as much as possible. the further in the shadow the better
  23. What calendars did they put out? I only know the hardiness zones which is about wintering over.
  24. Nothing like an icing event on the mountain when we want spring skiing.
  25. Officially Philadelphia, Wilmington, Trenton, Allentown & Reading have not recorded 100 degrees since 2012, same as Central Park. A # of locations listed above are known warm bias sites, take for instance the Franklin Institute. Pic of that rooftop instrument shelter is attached. Any wonder why that location would run warm LOL. Newark is a joke and has been addressed on multiple occasions by the NJ State Climatologist. NE Philly & SJ Regional have been running out of tolerance warm for years. You clearly lack consistency & need to treat the warm bias rooftops, helicopter pads, an ASOS next to miles of runway asphalt & 12 lanes of traffic.....garbage sites with the same degree of scrutiny as you do with the supposed vegetation issues at Central Park.
