Winds are veering west of I-55 and instability did not fully recover in TN/KY. Plains would have recovered but Dixie is more fickle. Meanwhile I like MD 306 noting the increasing tornado threat in northeast Mississippi. Outflow sits over northeast MS keeping winds a bit backed, and instability is increasing. Storms have been trying to form MS, bumping into what is left of the cap. Soon the cap will erode and storms will become established. Figure SPC will tornado box northeast MS soon. Mississippi storms took some time to get completely organized, perhaps some warm mid-levels before the front arrived. OFB extended into AL where temps/dews were slightly lower. However upstairs temperatures promoted more CAPE in AL. Increasing CAPE over an OFB = tornado risk. Glad nobody was seriously hurt.
