Not bad.

I'll take my chances with climo, as opposed to an overwhelming enso.

Yeah I agree, average temperatures with a chance at above average precipitation.

Signs of a late November pattern flip to colder look to be gaining some traction, even some models as early as mid Nov. Maybe some snow for Thanksgiving?

To help pass the time, perhaps we should do a "first snowfall date" guessing game.  I suppose we could break that up into first inch or more snowfall, and then the actual date when the first flakes fall.  That could certainly be the same date.  Location being Pittsburgh - I suppose downtown unless anyone has a better idea.

I'll say December 12 for first 1" or more snowfall, whereas first flakes on November 29.

Since KPIT is the official recording site, it would be easier to use them to verify data.

First flakes : 11/9/16

First 1": 11/16/16

I'm going to go with Nov 13th for first flakes, November 27th for first inch.

Well looks like they are in agreement with a lot of the other winter forecasts thus far, average to slightly below in temperature, and above average snow fall and things get going much earlier this year for a more seasonal holiday season. I'm looking forward to the first clipper with some decent lake enhancement \ squall line. :snowing:

Yea, those squall lines have been fun last couple years.
