Well this is going to suck. We are moving out of our house here Thursday. Talked to google fiber and they have to set up the new house since its not set with G fiber yet. Earliest they will be there will be next Tuesday. My poor phone is going to be overused the next 6 days.

Im surprised with the way the radar looked like around 1130am today we got nothing here today at RDU. Yesterday was good though here. 5/22: .54" 5/23: .07" 5/25: .48 Better than the goose egg.

What else can we do but laugh at this. This very similar to that snowstorm in Feb when we got dry slotted so bad here. We got 7 days to go in the month but nothing looks like a game changer fore the piedmont region through the end of the month

For the day so far and likely to be the same for the rest of today 0.00" here. Got a small batch of rain south of Burlington, NC but thats about it for the day that is anywhere close enough to the triangle. Starting to look drier and drier the next few days too. Just pop up T storms wherever they decide to form tomorrow.

Oh I 100% agree with your post. The atmosphere is just not juicy enough and unstable to get some storms in the Triad/Triangle. Once this cooler air erodes and the warmer more unstable atmosphere can get going then for sure some will get some great storms and rainfall and others wont. Def not a widespread even rainfall.

This has a jog to the memory of the "big" snow we had here in NC this past Feb and the raleigh area was the snow hole. Hopefully that blob of rain and storms over I 95 around KFLO and points N & W will make it here. Otherwise today will be a dry day with only .07" today so far

Finally , somw liquid gold is falling here. Sitting at. 15" for now. I still think that there is something to weakens the storms here. I was at our new house 4.5 miles away and it was dumping rain, ,here nothing too serious. Humid, ugh
