While in the Chopper at work the other day, I saw the final patch of snow of Mount Mansfield looked to be in its final hours.

I may need to go confirm today, haha, but my gut says its finally gone this morning.  Going to be a short growing season for the grass in the vicinity of that pile, haha.

Guys, sorry for the OT - need some help locating 15-min precip data for KLEB for July 2015.  Can't seem to locate on NWS sites - any ideas?  Thanks in advance!

NCDC won't have the 1-min or 5-min ASOS data for July until a few days into August. You can find the hourly METAR archives in a handful of spots online. Just click on the day...

My front seat heli view while coordinating a video shoot from the air...  ridgetop winds made the approach to the top of the Gondola quite interesting.   Especially with no doors on the chopper, I was just trying not to drop the iPhone as gusts rolled through the heli, haha.

I believe that is the new Stowe Mountain Golf Club. It's been open a few years but I have yet to play it.

Yeah...its tough to get on that one.  Much easier to play Stowe Country Club down in town.  The Mountain Club course though has a lot of short par 4s, not a lot of drivers off the tee.  Very hilly too...cart is necessary as there's like 500 feet of elevation change on the course.  I've seen it where its snowing on the back nine and raining on the front nine, haha.

Aside from a couple of light passing showers, a pretty nice day. Sun and mid-70's. The way life should be in late July.

74.3/71 (recently rained on grass below the sensor).

Wow...it was in the low 70s even at 4,000ft up here. You had a high in the mid-70s is impressive. I know whatever it gets to at 4kft, we can add 15F to that (5F per 1,000ft) for highs at 1,000ft. And even a tick more at 750ft. Worked out well today with 16F difference between over 3,250ft of elevation change.

Today's highs up here, near perfect dry adiabatic lapse rates:

4,000ft...71F

1,500ft...84F

750ft...87F
