Thoughts, outlooks, forecasts for March

PNA about to tank, EPO trending neutral, AO/NAO positive are at least good signs and match that with the now rapid increase in sun angle maybe score warmth for March.

The epo is going positive too if the models are right, heights are lowering over Alaska in the next 10 days, extremely ugly look

Ok we get it now no need to keep regurgitating about how warm it feels or the sun angle or how spring is here, or how warm 40s feel.

It's going to be March so yea it's going to feel warmer than Jan and Feb even if it's below normal. Yes the sun angle is higher now we get it. Doesn't change the fact that there's still a bunch of snow on the ground or that waters are frozen over.

Bottom line is it's still well below normal and there are wintry threats out there into March. I also think the backdoor season is going to be a huge pain this year.

With the SSTS as cold as they are just off the coast, this spring could feature some epic backdoor cold fronts once the real warmth pushes in over us and New England
