How Unusual is this Early Cold Snap?

I went back and analyzed the records for High Elevations in Chester County (1983-Present)

If we hit the NWS forecast low here tonight it will be coldest so early (18 years) since November 16, 1996 when the low was 16.0.

If the low goes below 16.0 it would be the 3rd coldest November morning in the entire 31 year dataset

Seems pretty unusual to me, without doing any research. The expected duration is as impressive as the temperatures. I've got 2 piles of leaves from late Sunday that are probably frozen to the ground and will probably still be icy on the bottom when I go to move them this coming weekend. Not as impressive as 70 inches of snow, but hey....

If it wasn't so breezy tonight we'd likely have a decent shot at more records. As it is it's dropping oh so slowly here, 23F currently, down from a high of 31F.
