In 2008, Hurricane Dolly made landfall at South Padre Island, TX. In 1996, Hurricane Dolly made landfall near Tampico. In addition, the D storm of this list prior to Dolly, Hurricane Diana, made landfall near Tampico in 1990 causing tremendous destruction through flooding.
