residential AC is a straight up ghetto! that is for sure

Yeah but people still went there to gamble because basically they had no other options in the area. Now that they do the novelty has worn off and there's no need to go there. I don't think it's that much to do with the economy since numbers have dropped every year since 2007 when the economy was still decent.

AC will never garner the clientele that Las Vegas does. The economy has minimal impact on LV .

Billionaire whale gamblers out of Asia or the Middle East

Are unaffected.

Hollywood party goers and Young wall street kids w expense accounts have no desire to visit AC

LV an adult playground with unmatched amenities .

AC will always be the JR varsity and never materialized and never will .

Las Vegas has been greatly affected the last few years by the economy and the opening of new casinos.

Peak gaming rev of 6.8 Bill in 07 fell to 5.5 Bill in 09 since then there's been 4 consecutive years of increased revs and they are back 6.5 Bill .

Check out the UNLV site , great single site analysis and total strip and statewide breakdown .

Last comment on LV . It's the fight capital of the world year over year revenues keep growing they will keep printing money and AC will keep losing money for the foreseeable future .IMO .

Back to weather Another great weekend enjoy.

Resorts World in Queens is also a huge issue. It's one of the highest grossing casinos in the nation.

15 mins away from my house. Nothing like Atlantic City though.

Not if it's poker.

Roulette FTW

The area around the casinos is terrible. Just stay near the casinos and you will be alright.

gambling is for suckers

Poker isn't gambling, I made a very good living for several years while it was legal to play online (and there was an ample player pool).

House games, yeah, they're for suckers... unless you know how to count cards without getting spotted.

2015

They give us cars once in a while to go and find summonses or collars. They are just happy if you get 1 collar and 15 summonses a month.

And you get holday pay. I'm working overtime in the morning friday. Pretty much a 800 dollar day. Gotta love working for the city lol

I'm working friday night. I worked about 30+ hour of overtime this week. I worked 33 hours straight from Wednesday night - Friday morning.

poker is fun but playing one game all the time is boring...fourty years ago I played poker every weekend...We played all the games...Five card stud...Seven card stud...California bluff...four in the middle...criss cross with a draw and on and on...I was an average player and I probably broke even through the years...I haven't played in 25 years but I like watching poker on TV...
