Two areas of energy, precipitation. One over the Great Lakes and the second over the south, southeast. They phase and passby the 40/70 benchmark and viola. Radar loop is time sensitive.

There's a consistant diference of temps being 3 - 4 degrees lower across the north shore than the south shore at the moment:

Was 26 here earlier this evening.  It rose to 31 about an hour ago, but hasn't budged since.  I'm liking the north shore for this one by later tomorrow afternoon.

Coast should expect a mix and even heavy rain, IMO, through about 4-7pm.
After that is the show.
Hope the euro and hi-res models which have 1"+ of liquid after that are correct. If they are, we all get 12"+.
If the gfs/ggem/ukie are right, we get 4"-8".

If we switch before 4pm, then it's possible we get 20".

Still 31 here.  It's actually down a tenth from an hour ago...which is just a nice way of saying it isn't rising at the moment.

06Z OBS: The OBS are closely following the 00Z NAM in terms of strength, but the track is a tad bit east of the 00Z NAM.

It's down to 30F here. It's probably because of the wind shift from E to ENE.
