Stunning, immense shots! I love it.
Crazy to think, but I'm guessing that the peak to the left on Denali on the same ridge would be the highest in the CONUS, and it looks tiny next to its huge neighbor.

Amazing...the Alaskan fall is really pretty too. Not as much variation in hue as New England but a lot of consistent deep yellows.

It is crazy. Mt Foraker is the peak, and it is over 17,000 feet, so you are right, that alone is over 2500 feet taller than the highest peak, Mt. Whitney, in California.Stunning, immense shots! I love it.

Yeah you don't see the reds you see out east, but the golden aspen remind me of Colorado in fall.Amazing...the Alaskan fall is really pretty too. Not as much variation in hue as New England but a lot of consistent deep yellows.

Gorgeous... and way better views than I got! :jealous:
Kinda neat how the snow level dives down from right to left in one of those photos...
And get us more pictures of the fall foliage! Somehow that just seems "spooky" in Alaska, like hell is about to arrive or something

Spectacular photos! Each could be a postcard imo!
Most mountains in the lower 48 are small compared to the ones in Alaska!

It has been tough obtaining decent fall shots with all the rain. When the sun peeks out, however, the golden Aspen are nothing short of spectacular. Here is one looking towards the Talkeetna Range across the Susitna Valley...and another in Eagle River looking towards the back of the Chugach Range.Gorgeous... and way better views than I got! :jealous:
