Widespread damage throughout metro Detroit and the radar image was just sick. Love the "eye".

Cool image. Can't remember seeing 2 quality lines/complexes that close together too often.

Good stuff. I was inside Dave& Busters so I couldn't see the storm... But on the drive home there were branches down everywhere.

I missed out on this mornings complex. I got only .10" here in Saginaw Twp. I'm hoping the one now north of me moved down later.

One of my all time favorite events around here for sure.

Yeah I remember that event. Caused some neighborhood tree damage and cut the power here for a couple hours. Not a whole lot of rain though 0.63".

Long day at the WFO for sure.
I ended up doing a write up of it (http://www.crh.noaa....18severeweather) just because of the relative rarity of two severe MCSs in one day.
Edit: I actually forgot I did a survey out at Lost Nation until I re-read that. No tornado either, despite the report by Port Byron.

We did have some wind damage and 1.11" of rain down here. The wind damage was nothing like experienced near the IN/MI line, but a man was killed by a falling tree here in Huntington.
