I must say I have enjoyed Walt Drag's AFDs the past couple days. I like the occasional use of exclamation points.

Question for the Mount Holly guys- how come the Mount Holly station hasn't been reporting lately?

The dry weather is good for high school tennis season, we have only had one match postponed this year. Last year at this point, we already had about 5.

ridiculous! did you have to axe through your roof to survive?
according to the 18z GFS, the next "big" chance of more than a pop up shower is next wed with a fropa.

Not sure about the official status of the French Creek fire, but drove along the eastern edge yesterday and still alot of smoke
in the air, so I'm guessing there are still hot spots. Saw a sign along the road thanking the fire fighters, state police, etc.
Depending on wind direction, we've had smoke in air at home about 10 miles away for most of the week.
35.7 for a nice cool morning. 5 mornings below freezing so far for the month - maybe another tomorrow.

The last report I saw was that the fire was 95 percent contained, and fire crews are to begin 'mop up' work today.

Well, one thing about the dry weather is the grass isn't really growing much - so I've only had to mow once this year. It'll be interesting to see how warm it can get Sunday/Monday/

Pea size hail here at NWS Mount Holly about 10 minutes ago. Some other stronger looking showers should also be producing some small hail.

Even though we haven't got much rain, at least the sky's been cool to look at lately.
